  1. Regarding the question of holding the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, February 24, I received a positive feedback from four schools: ANS, AST, CIG and EAS.  The three remaining schools didn’t respond. So by majority of votes, the following would be the tournament overview:

Wednesday, February 24

4:00 p.m.          Coaches meeting

5:15 p.m.          Opening Ceremony

6:15 p.m.          Icebreaker and “pupusas” for athletes

6:15 p.m.          Icebreaker and “pupusas” for parents

Thursday, February 25

                        8:00 a.m.          Games schedules begin

6:00 p.m.          Games schedules end

Friday, February 26

                        8:00 a.m.          Games schedules begin

6:00 p.m.          Games schedules end

Saturday, February 27

8:00 a.m.          Semifinal and elimination games begin

6:00 p.m.          Championship Games end

9:00 p.m.          Closing Ceremony and DJ

  1. I only have confirmation for transportation needs from ANS. If your teams require transportation please let me know as soon as possible. CIG only needs transportation for the Icebreaker?

  1. Kindly help me complete the following information or correct me if I have it wrong. Thank you! At Terraza Hotel: CDA. At Hilton Princess Hotel: ANS, AST ANS CIG. At Holiday Inn Hotel: EIS and CAG.

  1. “Hospital de Diagnóstico” and “Hospital de la Mujer” will be assisting us during emergencies and medical issues throughout the tournament. Both have requested a list of athletes’ names from the visiting teams. I know we always have last minute changes, but the majority of the selected athletes remain the same. Would you please be so kind as to send a list of the athletes names even if it isn’t the definite one? I guess the athlete’s ages range between 14 and 19 years old.  Escuela Americana will pick up the bill and then contact the specific schools for the proper reimbursement.

  1. The Booster Club and PTA members kindly request a tentative number of parents traveling with the teams so they can have an idea to estimate the amount of food.

  1. The weather is very hot during noon hours (yesterday we were at 38ºC) but it gets a little cool in the evenings. Don’t forget to remind the athletes about the need to start taking liquids before the tournament.

  1. On the web you’ll find the protest forms translated into Spanish. Please feel free to send any suggestions you see fit.
