Large School Basketball - Participants

Dear All,

The Escuela Americana is proud to announce that for the XIII AASCA Large Schools Basketball Tournament, the following schools have confirmed their participation:

 

  • Colegio Americano de Guatemala (boys and girls)
  • Colegio Interamericano de Guatemala (boys and girls)
  • Colegio Decroly Americano de Guatemala (boys and girls)
  • Escuela Americana de Tegucigalpa (boys and girls)
  • Escuela Internacional Sampedrana (boys and girls)
  • American Nicaraguan School (boys and girls)
  • Balboa Academy de Panama (only boys)
  • Escuela Americana de El Salvador (boys and girls)

 

On the boys division we will have eight teams and seven on the girls division. The tournament qualifying round will have two groups on both divisions. Soon I’ll send the teams draw.

 

Please let me know on which Hotels you’ll be staying, your means of arrival and if you’ll require help contacting the transportation to and from the playing sites. For those of you flying, remember that El Salvador’s exit taxes are $37.13 USD per person.

 

The weather at this time oscillates between 22ºC and 32ºC; we’ve had some days with showers in the afternoons and some very sunny days in between. I’ll keep you posted as the tournament dates get near.
