AASCA Volleyball Tournament 2012
Dear Principals and Athletic Directors
We are right at the beginning of a new school year, and really excited about the upcoming AASCA Volleyball Tournament. Following you’ll find important information:
TRANSPORTATION
We can offer a transportation service for $160.00 daily, which includes a maximum of 5 round trips to the tournament sites, hotel, malls and eating facilities. If you decide to use this service, Wednesday’s transportation from the hotel to the school and back is included.
Please take note, that after 9:00 p.m. no transportation service will be provided.
The transportation provided will be school buses with capacity for 44 passengers, equipped with a first aid kit and a radio transmitter for emergencies. Price includes the bus driver.
HOTEL INFORMATION
Don’t forget to make your reservations before January 20th, since as it was explained in the previous bulletin, the hotel is holding rooms and prices until this date.
There are different places where you and your teams can walk to get something to eat near the hotel. Following we list a few:
1. Pollo Campero and Burger King (one block away from the hotel)
2. La Torre supermarket, Taco Bell and McDonald's, (Across the hotel in Avenida Las Américas)
3. Wendy's (3 blocks from the hotel)
4. Paiz Gala supermarket (two blocks from the hotel)
5. Friends (three blocks from the hotel)
6. Los Próceres Mall, (5 minutes from the hotel by bus)
7. Oakland Mall, (15 minutes from the hotel by bus)
8. Meykos Drugstore (one block from the hotel)

ENTRANCE TO SCHOOL FACILITIES
If your school is using its own means of transportation, or have parents coming to our school facilities in their own cars, we request you send us in advance the names of the drivers so they can be provided with a name tag and facilitate the entrance without any delays.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
We remind you that the registration deadline is January 20th. So far we have only received confirmation from the following schools:
Escuela Internacional Sampedrana (Honduras)
American School of Tegucigalpa (Honduras)
