MS Choir - Welcome Letter from Music Teacher

Print

Dear MS music teachers and directors,

Thank you for your interest to participate in the AASCA MS Choir Festival.

My name is Maritza Ortiz and I will like to share with you a little of myself and my music program here in Marian Baker School, here in Costa Rica.

I have been working here for 8 years as a vocal music teacher and even we don’t have a choir, and this is one the smallest schools, music is always around us.

I teach grades k3 to Prep twice a week and 1st to 5thonce a week; and MS choir elective is only during the second semester of the school year, three times a week. The girls take the first quarter and the boys take the second and last quarter.

My middles school girls will be learning the music for the AASCA festival choir during their music classes.

For our festival, some of the music you have to order and otheryou need to print the parts for your students and yourselves.

Wishing the best for you and your families in these Holidays, I will say so long for now. I appreciate your commitment to making this project a success as well as I am looking forward to work with you and meet you in March.

Best,

Maritza Ortiz
